- Click here to request a pre-site survey. The results of the site survey will be sent to you via email with our findings and recommended next steps.
- A Refresh order does not include a pre-site survey!
Lexington Mailbox Refresh Service Details:
- Once we receive your online order, we will notify you via email to let you know when the work is scheduled. Weather conditions could affect the schedule.
- “Refresh” is a no-contact service. You don’t need to be home while the work is being performed.
- In most cases, the mailbox and numbers require careful removal prior to starting the refresh.
- If the numbers cannot be removed without damage, we will notify you immediately via email to let you know that new numbers are required. We will include the link to order new numbers based on your address.
- Flowers and other foliage will be protected with a temporary barrier.
- The wood will be cleaned and prepared for the new finish.
- Minor cracks in the wood will be repaired.
- 2 coats of high quality, exterior grade primer applied
- 2 coats of exterior grade, high gloss paint will be applied.
- Reinstall existing mailbox
- Reinstall existing numbers
- Notify you once the work is complete
Important Notes:
- A “Refresh” does NOT include replacement of any components.
- If you have already paid for a “Refresh” (without a pre-site survey) we will issue a refund for the amount paid, minus a $5.00 service fee.
- Please do NOT touch the newly painted post for 24 -36 hours after the work is complete. Weather conditions can delay curing of the paint.
